Reliability Meets Security

For a business, a fence is not just a boundary - it's an investment in security and liability reduction. Whether you need to secure a fleet of vehicles, enclose high-voltage equipment, or simply define a property line for an office park, Les Clôtures Duratech delivers industrial-grade solutions.

We understand that commercial projects require strict adherence to timelines and safety codes. We serve South Shore Montreal and Montérégie, providing robust installations that withstand heavy use and Quebec’s harsh winters.

Our Commercial Fencing Solutions

1. Heavy-Duty Chain Link (The Industrial Standard)

Cost-effective, secure, and durable. The #1 choice for warehouses, logistics yards, construction sites and industrial parks.

  • Galvanized Steel Mesh: For maximum durability, strict security and rust resistance in industrial zones.
  • Privacy Add-ons: Hide dumpsters, HVAC units, or storage yards from public view using our durable enclosures with Privacy Slats inserted into the chain link mesh.
  • Note: If you require a color-coated mesh for an office frontage, please ask us about our Commercial Frost options.

2. Ornamental Steel & Aluminum

Security with Curb Appeal. Ideal for office frontages, condos, and public-facing commercial properties. Steel for maximum strength, aluminum for low maintenance.

  • Professional Appearance: Creates a high-end look for clients and visitors while maintaining a secure perimeter.
  • Durability: Heavy-duty steel options provide a formidable barrier against intrusion.

3. Commercial Gates & Access Control

A fence is only as good as its gate. We install:

  • Cantilever (Sliding) Gates: Perfect for maximizing space in trucking yards.
  • Swing Gates: Heavy-duty double gates for wide entry points.
  • Pedestrian Gates: Secure access points for staff.

4. Barbed Wire Security Extensions

Maximum perimeter defense. Barbed wire acts as a powerful physical and visual deterrent against intrusion. It is the ultimate upgrade for high-security commercial, industrial, and logistics sites.

  • Anti-Climb Protection: 3-strand angled arms effectively prevent climbing and unauthorized access to your facility.
  • Flexible Installation: We can integrate this into new heavy-duty chain link projects or retrofit it to your existing fences (subject to your local municipal bylaws).

The Duratech Commercial Standard

Heavy-Gauge Materials

We use commercial-grade posts and mesh, thicker than standard residential fencing, to withstand impact and snow load. Barbed wire arms are optional (if bylaws permit).

Deep Concrete Footings

Commercial fences often span long distances. We install deep, concrete-anchored posts to prevent heaving and leaning over time.

Safety Compliance

We handle Info-Excavation to locate all underground utilities (gas, fiber, electric) before breaking ground.

Our Installation Process

Efficient execution to minimize disruption to your operations.
1.
Site Assessment & Quote: We measure the perimeter and discuss security needs (height, gates, visibility).
2.
Safety & Utilities: We submit the Info-Excavation request. You (the client) obtain the municipal construction permit.
3.
Post Installation: We drill and set posts in concrete.
4.
Curing Period: We allow approximately 14 days for concrete to cure. Note: For heavy commercial gates, this curing time is non-negotiable to ensure the weight is supported.
5.
Mesh & Gate Installation: We return to stretch the mesh and hang the gates.
6.
Final Inspection: We walk the site with the facility manager to ensure all latches, locks, and lines meet specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, we can install barbed wire arms on chain link fences, provided your municipality allows it for your specific zone. We recommend checking local bylaws first.
What is the standard height for commercial fencing?
Most commercial chain link fences are 6 to 8 feet high. However, we can install heights ranging from 4 feet to 10+ feet depending on your security requirements.
Do I need a permit for a commercial fence?
Yes. Commercial properties almost always require a municipal permit. The property owner is responsible for the permit application, but we provide the technical drawings and specifications you need.
Can you install on asphalt or concrete surfaces?
Yes. If we need to cross a parking lot or concrete pad, we use diamond core drilling to set posts directly into the concrete or heavy-duty flange anchors.
How wide can your gates go?
We can configure double swing gates or cantilever gates to accommodate wide turning radiuses for transport trucks and heavy machinery.
