When is the best time to install sod?
In Quebec, we can install sod from May to November. Spring and Fall are ideal because it's cooler and rains more, requiring less manual watering.
Can you install sod over my old grass?
No. The old grass will rot underneath and kill the new roots. We must strip the old lawn or till it under properly before laying new sod.
What kind of grass do you use?
We use premium Kentucky Bluegrass blends cultivated specifically for the Montreal/South Shore climate. It is durable, dark green, and winter-hardy.
